I am a Gender and Human Rights Consultant with over 9 years experience in the INGO sector. I have worked around the globe for a range of organizations, including: The United Nations, International Non-Governmental Organizations, NGOs, and Grassroots Initiatives.

I now provide various services, including:

  • Research studies on Gender and Human Rights
  • Country wide scoping exercises on Gender in: education, employment, gender based violence and sexual autonomy / bodily integrity
  • Strategy Development for Communications, Outreach or Gender Equality Programmes
  • Written content including: annual reports, funding proposals, newsletters, press releases, online articles and other communications materials
  • Support for asylum seekers through the drafting of affidavits in cases where individuals have fled due physical and sexual violence, as well as discrimination and threats based on their gender and sexual identity.

I have conducted desk-top research on DRC, Guyana, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Nepal and Zambia

I have presented on gender and development in Finland, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa and The United Kingdom

I have both a Bachelor of Fine Arts, from the University of the Arts, as well as a Master of Arts in Gender Studies from the School Of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Having both a background in the arts, as well as in gender and anthropology, means that I seek out creative solutions and always apply out of the box thinking to my work.
